Re: Trans Am concept

The Firebird must have scoops... the Camaro a hood cowl... isn't that the unspoken rule?

Re: Trans Am concept

Careful with these clones... we don't want to ruin Camaro's party...because quite clearly, the Camaro is the 'looker'... the Firebird is an ugly clone, no matter which photoshop version you look at.

Just don't want to spoil a good thing... that's all.

Re: Trans Am concept

I felt the Firebird/TransAm was much cooler looking than the Camaro I guess because I had one up until about 2 years ago.

Gotta say it, the Trans Am concept absolutely buries the new Camaro concept. If the Camaro comes out, I'll buy one and fabricate the Trans Am pictured. Its just... wow....

Re: Trans Am concept

That looks pretty good and is so far the only good looking Firebird "concept" I've seen based off the new Camaro.

Re: Trans Am concept

I would think a successful Firebird concept would need to have greater differentiation than that shown on the pics. What was GM's policy on cloning (badge engineering) again?

Not sure anymore. It seems to me they badge engineer a lot of cars, suv's and trucks.

Good example Monaro=GTO

Re: Trans Am concept

Someone should send those to GM. It would give them ideas as well as show the huge intrest in these cars that we all have!
