Well.. I guess you'd have to have the new Ozzy CD (or go download the song... ) to know what I'm talking about, but I think "Not Going Away" (song #1) on Black Rain would be a great background song for the new Camaro commercial.

Or maybe just the chorus once at the beginning from "I Don't Wanna Stop" with just the instrumental playing in the background for the rest of the commercial while they showed someone driving the hell out of it and maybe saying a few words at the end.

Still love that one though... but I'd make a very slight change...

It would obviously have the production camaro, but I think this would be good for a magazine ad.


Not sure who made this but I can not take credit for it, I have just seen it floating around a few places.

 

I like the idea of "Bad to the Bone" playing as a shiny, black Camaro Z28 slowly rolls past the camera. Then voiced over...

"Your best friend just got out of jail...and he wants to party."

And maybe a burnout as the car tears off.

 

Other ideas...

"Camaro -- For guys who go fast and girls who kick ***."

(Or if GM's not comfortable saying "***", you could do a "For guys who go fast and girls who kick--well, you get the idea.")

I also like the idea of some shots of a tough camaro starting up and driving around as Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" plays.

I, for one, vote against the use of any derivation of the so-called word "pwn", regardless of capitalization, in any GM advertising materials.

 

agreed 100%; reading or hearing that word makes my skin crawl. Last time I checked, the camaro's target audience wasn't the preteen MTV gamers.

 

america sucks in the title..I think we need to get away from that.....its played out....it needs to be about going FAST>!
