The Ultimate Camaro Sales Slogan

Re: The Ultimate Camaro Sales Slogan
How about something simple:
"Camaro...by Chevrolet".
It's a play on badging from the 60's. It's simple and lets the car speak for itself. It also puts an emphasis on both brands Camaro and Chevrolet. It could also be applied across the board.

Re: The Ultimate Camaro Sales Slogan
here's my shot at it :
going with the "American Revolution" theme that GM is currently running..
*tv spot*
Images of the founding fathers of our country, paintings of the boston tea party, sounds of shots being fired from a black powder rifle..
Text stating something like : 231 years ago our founding fathers fought for something that was a revolutionary idea...
Images of the camaro's body flashes up in quick succession, while hearing exhaust revs....flash Text stating : Today, the battle continues on...
End on a jet black camaro against a waving american flag in the background with the text of :
Camaro, because every revolution starts with something Revolutionary.
Be part of the revolution, get yours on July 4, 2007.
Magazine spots could just be a photo of the car with the flag in the background with the text :
Camaro, because every revolution starts with something Revolutionary.
or something like that.. im not too good with this stuff..but its just an idea.

Okay, i think we should take your commercial idea, and stick my slogan "Camaro, because every revolution needs a hero" in there. GM would make many millions
or maybe even "Camaro, because revolutions make legends"
I really like the camaro against an American flag idea, and i REALLY like the opening day of the car to be July 4th. Would be a great marketing strategy to nab some impulse buyers who go to see the movie.
Who knows, maybe they will officially announce the Camaro approval during this July 4th week. This would help keep the idea fresh because they can play off of an emotion that doesn't dry up over time; patriotism.

Re: The Ultimate Camaro Sales Slogan
I say they should play into the market for many of its buyers. On ABC, NBC, ect... they could play up the safety and economical reasons to purchase the camaro and advertise the v6. I believe that the cool commercials should be brought to channels such as spike, or mens, OLN, ect.. as selective marketing.
Something to the tune of:
Carol Shelby's quote: Bring it on?
Then have the Camaro (jet black) rev up the motor a little.
Cut to black screen stating specifications for the car i.e. 0-60, top speed, price, ect..
Then end the commercial with the Camaro doing a huge burnout and state:
"You got served"
