Unique V8/V6 treatment

Having a great time at the Camaro Nationals at Carlisle. I heard today that you will be able to visually tell if a camaro has a V8 or V6. Something like the 3rd gen where the z28 had a unique front end. I also heard that the Camaro will do something unique when you start it up. No other car does "whatever it is" to date. I also heard that everything we want to know as far as models/engines ect will be available at the end of July. GM can not guard against dealer mark ups. You need to find another dealer if your not satisfied. I hope that this information has not been mentioned before.

Even from a distance.

007-style ejector seat, right through that sunroof.

Good. Can't wait to see the cool conversations springing up when the info is out!

GM can not guard against dealer mark ups. You need to find another dealer if your not satisfied.
That's right. GM sells to dealerships, but GM is not dealerships and cannot intervene at the level we would like. It is against the law for them to do so.

Everyone, say it with me again, "Refuse Camaro Markups". We have a program in place that we will kick off later this year that will help put buyers in touch with dealers that will treat them right.

I hope that this information has not been mentioned before.
Not yet! Thanks for posting!

This is good that you mentioned this. I got my '08 from a dealer in NH, did it all through the internet and DHL. They were a supporting dealer on Corvetteforum.com, and do a ton of forum business. Something like this for CZ28.com could be equally lucrative for all parties involved.

Would you happen to have a video of the startup sequence of the Concept? Very few people know/have seen it.

I'm not sure WHAT this car may do when you start it up that is unique. All Scott would say is that you will go "WOW". He would not elaborate.

While cool, that is already available in some GM cars.

The car lit up a certain way. You'd have to see it.

The folks at Carlisle were treated to a surprise appearance of one of the IVER V-8 cars in the afternoon on saturday.

Settlemire and Fitzpatrick seemed all smiles to be zipping quickly through in it.

I gotta tell ya folks, the car does look GREAT! Far better than the concept IMO.

Having spent tons of time around the concepts, and I mean all of them, NOTHING was lost in the translation.

Camaros at Carlisle! I miss going to that. Used to when I lived in Pa.

Remote starting will cause it to transform into an autobot, stomp on the nearest sports car, then transform back so you can drive it

It will talk to you on start up?

Breathalizer?

Adjust the seat and steering wheel to memory settings?

Just some guesses.
