Upgraded paint process ? ?
I heard some chat "in the pipeline" that with a certain Cadillac being produced in Oshawa, there will be some improvements in the painting area.
"Cadillac Quality paint" means a better process.
What's this mean, and why am I babbling about it? Because the Camaro more than likely benefit from this...so Cadillac quality paint on your Camaro. Cadillaro even? Sorry, I had to!
Before I get yelled at, this is not "official" GM news, and everything at GM is "*subject to change.." ...but if this does happen, I'll be glad to say "I told you so"
and I for one, likes to see improvements and enhancements on the Camaro!

I doubt there is any big difference today. They already are using a fairly modern system to paint the Camaros. About the only thing they could do to possibly improve upon the quality is to hand buff every car, and I don't even think they do that for Cadillac currently, do they?
