that webcast was weak.. but at least they said the date is going to start being built feb 09... cant wait..

yea, i heard that, but its confused me. I had always though i read that the building of them would begin in september, and they'd hit the dealers around february.. not build in feb.. hit dealers whenever..

maybe im wrong on that.. but thats what i had thought i read alot of in the past....

why are they using the concept for color options?

so there are no pictures of an SS yet or what??

The second rear pic on the colors page looks like a production intent SS to me. It has SS badging.

It's not really that different. Looks to me like the scoop and the bigger exhaust pipes will be the main differences from a V6.

I watched the live video and it was not that special!!!! When did they decied not to make the Z28??????????????????????? I realize I should have know this because no one else is supprised. This must make you SS guys happy that anyone can now own a SS. I'm a "Z28" guy and not interested in a SS, and I'm sure there are other people that feel the same as me. Is it comming later?

My understanding is that they're going to start ramping up the production lines in September, but that the first three or four months will be spent fine-tuning the production process, building crash-test cars, etc. February is when they will start building cars that are ready for sale to the public.
