Video Assembling the Zeta Based Caprice

Hello forum members, I came across these videos while trauling the net for information on RHD Camaros.

As you can see in part 2 of the video looking at the firewall of a few of the cars coming through the assembly line you can see left hand drive versions. You may also notice other similarities in the chassis and the manufacturing.

In Australia this car is known as the holden commodore, It is our most popular 4 door saloon car. similar to the Camaro it is built on the Zeta chassis and sports the same motor options.

Considering the speculation of Chevrolet releasing this car as the Caprice in the American market as left hand drive I thought it was appropriate to share this information.

Dang, I love that term "saloon" so much better than "sedan". I wish we'd adopt it here in the states.

those comodores are bad ***. i hope we chevy brings something like the g8 (chevelle/caprice) back and it would be cool to get something like the truck version( ElCamino!)
