Because a solid ice carving weighs more than the actual car?

Anybody else notice that is one hideous and way-off ice sculpture? Functional limitations of ice sculpting to blame?

Wow, that is the coolest ice sculpture I have ever seen. I wonder how long it took to craft that.

From the article, "GM says it took 250 hours to design and build the chilly concept car."

When was the last time you've seen something like this for a "concept" car?!

I've felt ever since I learned of (and then viewed the video of) it's unveiling there's been far too much fanfare and media around the new Camaro for it to just be a "concept".

This is just another thing that makes it appear as if it's slated for production sooner than anticipated.

Hopefully that means that what we see is pretty much the production version (aside from the interior getting tamed somewhat, the side mirror enlarging and the wheels shrinking) as is.

I hope those huge wheels are an option though. If not, I'll, for the first time, have to look into a set of rims to mimic the 'concept'.

Cool article and it definately shows how important this "concept" is.
