Want to order a Black 2SS in So Cal? Any tips? Incentives?

Well after getting screwed over on my first order, I'm finally ready to order my Camaro AGAIN.

I saw the thread about the GMS pricing going away as of 1/5, is that so? Does the incentive take place when you order or when you take delivery? I asked a dealer near me and they said they wouldn't honor the incentive at the time of order because it may not be available when I take delivery of the car. I've emailed a few dealerships and spoken with one directly and it just seems like none of them are very interested in selling a Camaro. The internet manager I spoke with last night said she was going to call me back and never did. I said I was ready to order, how much easier of a sale are they looking for?

anyways, just wondering if anybody can give me any tips, advice, or recommendations on dealerships in So Cal. Seems as though none of them want to sell a Camaro so don't want my order to get canceled like my first one.

thanks,

Chris

Yes, don't buy one. Wait until the Dealers are ready to sell the cars at least 10% below the MSRP. That SS can wait.

Wow, 10%?? I really don't foresee that happening anytime soon. On a $36K that is $3k off which is below invoice on that car. I'm ok with waiting, but I don't think that day will come for several years if at all unless a dealer is trying to get rid of a particular unit on their lot. For now I'll just wait it out and see what happens. I've waited this long, what's another 6 months or so.

Well as luck would have it, I was browsing the autotrader online on Christmas Day and found the exact Camaro I was looking for in San Diego. They didn't do GM Supplier Pricing, but they did give me the $500 buy-back incentive so it made it worth it enough for me to drive it home today. I couldn't be happier. I absolutely love it.

Big deal. I still will wait until they go 10/12% off MSRP...Then that is a deal.

BIG DEAL!? it is a big deal. i paid MSRP but had about 1500 in earnings, off the car. anything less than that is a huge deal. especially compared to back when i bought mine.

10% off MSRP for my car would be 3600 off my 2ss/rs. i have seen many cars out there for this already.
