At least wait until the finished product is unveiled before casting judgment. There have been plenty of unflattering pics of pre-pro Mustangs and Challengers and I'm sure many of the leg humpers on those cars now thought they looked like crap back then.
Like or hate the pics would it not fair to judge the production Camaro against the other cars or your own personal opinion? –Common sense I know but this idea gets pushed out of the way for easy snap judgments all the time.
The pic of the rear is terrible. I've got a pic of my old '97Z taken in poor light and too close and it looks like crap too. It didn't in person but through the camera it didn't come out right.
All cars are getting heavier. It's not just pony cars. Consumers want the cake and we want it now with extra frosting and a glass of milk chilled too. There is no way a car can be designed and built in 2008 with all the FMVSS, comforts and engineering needed to make them work today for the affordable price and still have low weight. This will change as the new CAFE regs. become law. Cars will get lighter with less power and less luxury for the same price. Complain about these days if you like but they may be seen as the good ‘ol days decades from now.

The *** looks horrible, I've felt that way from the start. As much as I've hammered the car though, I don't think the front end looks that bad in that shot. As a matter of fact I htink it looks meaner than the red car I've seen in person twice.
There are several fan drawings out there (especially a black one with an RS treatment) that take what the General started with and made it into a car I would trade up to in an instant. It's unfortunent the street model has to appeal to so many people and play it safe.
