Exactly.

You can order your A/C delete option in your very own garage............ and it will cost you little.

How much EXTRA would you be willing to pay, for a vehicle with less features??? (there's a good reason why very few vehicles even have roll up windows available........... $$$$$)

Ditto, you want less options, take the stuff out yourself, I dont want to pay a higher price on my Camaro because you want to save 10lbs

Its funny, because on forums such as this, you will often get MANY people talking about how much they want an option for deleted features.

In the rare case when a manufacturer actually tries to introduce said package.......... about 10 people buy it. They then complain loudly when they have a VERY hard time selling a car that has no features.

Re: We want AC delete 1Le option

That is certainly not gonna happen . A 1LE package is probably a gimme , but it will have A/C . Of all the cars the camaro will share its platform with , not one of those would be a car didnt have A/C standard . And if you heard how much cost it would take to engineer a specific heater box for non A/C cars , plus the special Hvac head unit , plus the wiring harness , ect ect . The chance of no A/C is 0% . The fact u can get a Solstice without A/C really shocks me , in this day and age .

great ideas, pull the stuff yourself, seal it in plastic, store it, and twenty years from then pull it out of storage and sell your NOS parts for probably 1000s by then.

Well, some racing class rulebooks say you can't do any modifications unless it was available from the factory..

So perhaps they should offer some ac delete and stuff like that.. of course, the extra work required means you will have ot pay MORE for less..

An A/C delete would be ideal for me, but probably not for the general public.

----and I'd like a date with Christie Brinkley or Sandy Bullock or Daisy Fuentes, too...........

............but it ain't gonna happen.

Power windows these days really don't add any weight.......and a non-air car would be prohibitively expensive to engineer..........and we'd sell how many???

Re: We want AC delete 1Le option

For every person who wants a 1Le, there are 100 people like me who want the heaviest most fully optioned one available - leather, power everything, big heavy stereo, extra noise insulation, etc...
