Yes.........Firebird I, II, and III are in the GM Collection.....developed in the 50s..........they are powered by turbine engines........quite interesting to look at .....and to listen to as they 'spool up'..........

 

yeah, probably sounds like a jet engine.. heh

those are what the Fbody Firebirds were named after, other than that.. no relation..
