No. Well...not really.

I think about it this way, and you will hear me repeat this a lot...

We wanted a new Camaro. We got it.
We wanted HUD in that Camaro. We got it.
We wanted a Convertible. We got it.
We wanted a high-end, supercharged power machine. We (just) got it.

Granted, I say we as in the majority of the voices out there. In addition we cannot have everything that we want just the way we want it. However, If history repeats itself, the Z28 name won't be forgotten. I mean...what else is left? Is anything on the radar to directly compete with the Boss 302?

I really prefer the 2010 steering wheel over the new one also.
At the last disciple meeting last summer, one of the engineers CTF cars had that steering wheel on it. I sat in it and got a feel for it. Not bad. Doesn't quite fit the rest of the interior...but slightly larger in diameter and felt pretty good.

I guess we'll have to wait a few more years for a Z28.
FYI it has been used on Camaros in the past..

Other than that you are correct IMO.

The SLP 2011 750 HP ZL1 costs approx $80G for the conversion alone. 69 of them will be produced and I'd guess there will be none for 2012 from SLP.

Best regards,

Elie

I wonder how much SLP got for the name?

Not a member. Like I said they're usually too busy asking about window tint and rims over there.
