Keep it just like it is, just make sure the stripes are painted and not vinyl.
Alot of you guys are criticizing the rims, but you have got to remember that not every customer is going to be as old fashioned as some of us are. Nowadays bigger is better. And it was the lack of marketing towards the "hip" crowd that hurt the 4th gen so much.
The 4th gens didn't become "cool" or "in" with the mainstreams until AFTER they stopped making them.
And with todays technology, a 20 inch forged alluminum wheel with a low profile tire can weigh the same if not less as a steel 16 with a granny tire.

I can live with a production like interior of the car but I do not want it to feel as cheap as the Mustangs.
The material used in the Stang makes my GP feel like a Cadillac and the 04 GP is nothing to brag about.
The one thing I do not want to see is any use of scoops or add ons that do not work. I know there are goverment regs on drive by noise. I would rather see them left off if they do not work.
The GTO and G 6 GXP fake scoops are a good example of what Chevy needs to avoid.
Also lets not over do the retro thing. This cars as a foot in the past but one foot in the future. For the benifit of the cars future I hope we don't see a reuse of a bunch of names like ZL1 etc that really have little to do with the present car. I would rather see some fresh ideas or at least change the names to a ZL2 etc. Time to build on what retro we have and build a new history not repeat all of it.

I may be one of the few people who loves the styling of the interior BUT...
I can see that being a real nightmare when attempting to guess your exact speed. "I'm sorry, officer. I was trying to keep the speedometer at 2/5 past the large 50 there to get as close as possible to 60. I guess I was speeding?" As much as it might take away from the art deco style of the gauge cluster, some intermediary notches to help with that would be pretty crucial, in my mind.
Love the shifter...love the gauges by the shifter, but I sure hope they're not communicating anything important since I assume I'm not going to have the ability to glance at them while driving.
Now having never sat in the concept and of course having never driven it, maybe all these things work with no problems in the real world. One more thing -- the steering wheel looks kinda cool, but does having a shape like a woman's birth control diaphragm help in some way?
