Does anyone know what is the absolute latest into an order that changes can be made? My order is currently at 2030 and I may need to switch from a 2SS to a 1SS. Any information from you guys/gals would be appeciated!

I was told I had 30 days in which to make changes.

From what I've read here and elsewhere...
Once you hit 3000 you are absolutely committed; the car will be made. At 2000+ you are now at a level in which a plant manager has to physically go and remove your order from the system. It will put you back to new order status 1100. You need to confirm what I wrote but I believe it's correct. You need to act NOW.

For the other poster, there is no such thing as "30 days". At any time prior to 2000 you can make any change(s) you want any number of times. That could last for a day, a week, a month, or more depending on where you are "in line" at your dealer, thus how long it takes your order to get pulled. Once your order gets pulled you start to have a mess with regards to changes and it only gets worse.

I really don't want to but I may have to due to financial reasons. It is not definite but it is a possibilty.

Oh OK, thanks for the info. I will talk to my dealer this week some time and see what he says. That would suck if the order went back to 1100, but at this point if I have to make the change then I guess I would just have to deal with it.
