What type of financing on the new camaro??
I was just wondering, those that have ordered their car, what type of financing is being given on the new camaro through GM? I went to the GMAC website to estimate monthly payments but for the 2010 camaro it says 'that information is not available at the moment'... I was just wondering what I should expect when I sit down with the dealer in a few weeks and discuss pricing. Would I be able to get better financing through a bank? P.S. I've never bought new car before and just bought a house, I have pretty good credit though, if that helps.
Thanks.
Thanks.

they ran a credit check to make sure it was good enough to get the car and it was n my dealer said they have upto 4 banks i can go through he also said couldnt do a loan yet due to the car not even being out yet so it will be done as soon as my car arrives my bank would be easiest to go through n last car i bought from them they gave me 6% interest n thats only cuz i had a checking savings n credit/debit card through them

Shop around on the internet. No one says you have to use someone local, and credit unions are not always the lowest rate anymore, just watch for fees and read the fine print. I just noticed Capital One has 4.89% for 60 months with auto payment (my local credit union is is starting at 7% right now). It's usually a good idea to get pre-approved for up to a certain amount before you walk in to a dealership. That way, you know for sure the best financing you can get from a bank ahead of time and it cuts down on paperwork and time. It also makes for a quick decision on whether or not the dealership can get you a better rate. Also, Edmunds has a few calculators for cash back vs. APR to compare incentives and see which is the better deal. The more homework you do before the fact, the better off you are.
