What's the deal with the dovetail/"blade" spoiler?

I haven't heard any news regarding the dovetail/"blade" spoiler since the SEMA show last year. It's an accessory I'd really like to have. Anyone have any info?

Here's some pics for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about:

There are a number of aftermarket companies currently working on them. Some are even shipping now.

As for the GM version, I agree it would be a nice Z/28 exclusive. Still, there are a number of official GM parts that aren't out yet like the replacement door and dash panels. I don't know what the holdup is but they need to get on the ball.

I cant afford the Z28 and if I could I REAALLY dont like that hood scoop the Z28 is going to have. I dont like the ground effects package, nor the front spoiler extention.

BUT just like the spoiler that was on my 69 Camaro I like that blade Spoiler. Its one of the few add ons I like.

EDIT: BTW an SS looks more like the below which is PERFECT.

If it's going to be on the Z/28, they had better make it available for purchase separately at the dealer.
