Wheel Deja Vu?

I also think they resemble the older ribbed 5 star late 80s wheels that people were always putting on the S10s. I don't remember for sure, but I think they had them on the Z28s.
They're not quite as similar as I thought, but here's a pic of an IROC with the ones I was talking about. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1987-...ayphotohosting

i never liked those mustang wheels, i thought they were the worst wheels offered for that car, but i love the camaros wheels, im not sure why, they're just enough different to make me like them i guess
edit- i just looked again, i think its cause the wheels have a much lower profile tire, and they are more chrome in parts, where the whole wheel looks brushed.

THAT was actually the very first thing that I noticed! HOPEFULLY, the negative feedback recived from having Mustang wheels on the Camaro will persuade GM to change them before production.
DOUBLE YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny because when I first saw the wheels on the Camaro, I was thinking I'd seen them before. Then I figured it was a modern take on the Z28 wheels of the 80's (the 15's). Then I saw a Mustang at a light this morning and was like....it can't be..... So I rushed home to check, and suuuure enough . It's kind of strange, because I love the wheels on the Camaro, but prefer the torque thrust style Mustang wheel on that car more than this style.

Like 'em or not, the wheels now have to go .
Unless we WANT to be laughing stock of Detroit?? I mean, why doesn't Chevy just start building a Mustang?!?!?
..... wonder if this has anything to do with SALEEN's involvement??
