hope GM sticks to their guns on unique styling and taking chances on gen 6...They will look at the numbers and hopefully discount the visibility weenies. It's such a Non issue when driven daily. It never even crosses my mind...The park assist should be packaged in an electronics option with rear camera in mirror and lane sensors or something like that...The safety/visibility weenies could stop "not enjoying" the car and go down to their chevy store and put a deposit down. The 6th Gen is years away as was stated....if people want a 6th gen it's time to order your new Camaro and enjoy it for years and help keep Oshawa rolling these beauties out and guess what...you can trade in a few years on the Alpha mobile of your dreams....but nothing happens till we buy Camaros.
The more Camaros we buy the better the 6th Gen will be. That is a fact.

Do you really think it's a good idea to repeatedly call a moderator a "weenie"? If so, might want to rethink that one. Come up with a more mature way to say what you want to say.

I hope GM finds a way to have unique styling and great visibility. I'm not going to buy a car I don't want. This is called "voting with your wallet".

I bought a Saturn Aura for my wife a few months ago (December, when Saturn was still selling cars), so that's my contribution of support for GM.

Agreed I also voted with my wallet, I bought a Cobalt SS sedan last year because it was stealthy, fast, mod friendly, and I could see out of the thing! I bought it when it was a real possibility GM would cease to exist so for all the people complaining we did help GM when they needed it the worst. I could have bought a Camaro and was really wanting to do so until I sat in a few of them and every time I did the reaction was the same. I guess I am one of the many "weenies" out there, even though I have owned a 3rd and 4th gen I guess my comments along with JakeRobb don't matter and we should just suck it up and pay $35k for something we don't want.

Moderator or not we will agree to disagree. Cobalt SS "sedan" not same market or car as Camaro....2 different buyers....my view is a few people dont like the visibility and to the 100,000 buyers its a non issue. I guess one cant have any little amount of fun on the site.....I have taken my share of ribbing....no worries. Its all in good fun...

Repeatedly deriding my clearly stated opinion and dismissing it as irrelevant goes beyond ribbing in good fun.

I don't think there was ever any question that we disagreed.

Regarding the 100,000 cars... last I heard that was the number built, not sold. Maybe I'm out of date. Anyway, what if it could have been 150,000 if the visibility were better? Or 200,000? I realize that those figures are highly unlikely, but I know that there are a lot of people who were turned off by it and ended up not buying one and I'm just using them to illustrate my point.

Apparently not in my case considering I was looking at both cars for a while. Visibility is the only reason I am not driving a Camaro right now. While the Camaro is selling well it would have sold even more if people could see out of them. At least 2 more by my count in this thread.

I don't know that you can make the assumption that if the visability were better, then more Camaros would have been sold.
For all we know, for every person that decided to buy one because the visibility was OK, another person did not buy because they didn't like the looks.
I don't think we can predict with any kind of accuracy how sales would have been if the visibility/looks were different.

Yeah I've driven enough armored vehicles in my life with no rear visibility, I don't need it in my personal vehicle.

Yeah because that was an option, lol. If I won a Lamborghini I would sell it and buy a GT500 and keep the change. High dollar exotics just don't do anything for me. Never have.
