I was originally waiting until the HUD was available, but now that it's been pushed back, it's not a big deal if my car doesn't have it.

I am waiting for pricing info and final specs such as mpg. If a miracle happens and that information becomes available within a week I would order it on the 13th.

Since there won't be significant mark downs on Camaro for a while the gap between a loaded Camaro and stripped Corvette will be relatively small. Kinda makes you think.
Wanna buy mine?

Waiting on an LSA version or a dealer installed GMPP blower depending on price and power level. IF either are available of course.

....otherwise, more than likely not getting one.

This is my thinking as well. I think that if they price the SS too high GM is going to shoot themselves in the foot and bury this car before it even gets out fo the starting gate. '08 base Vettes are under $40K and they are pretty "loaded" compared with a loaded SS (HID's, removable targa roof, leater, computer controlled climate control, etc.). Anything more than $34K for a loaded SS is just plain stupid in my mind and I would then consider a base Corvette instead. This is the reason a lot of us are looking at the SS instead of the Vette, not all but a lot, including myself.

Won't have my loan paid off until around April. But I figure by June or so there should be enough on the market that I won't have to put up with any BS markups. Plus, the more down, the less my payment..so I'm a little patient.

However....I just found out my employer gets a GM supplier discount...might just push me ahead a little.

Does "waiting for a convertible" count as "waiting for other options?" That is how I voted.

Not buying one anytime soon. It will be my welcome back to America present when I come back in early 2011.

I think many will be in my boat. The financial bailout is crucial to a Camaro in my future. Word is now that money will not be available for car financing unless the bailout occurs. Without a large amount of financing, there isn't much hope of me getting the Camaro according to plan.
