Where is your purchase-o-meter pegged?

After all of the spy pics, where are you guys at regarding purchasing a new Camaro?

I'm still torn between a G8 GXP & top Camaro.

I'll wait for somebody to take a spy-picture of an early-draft price guide. Then I'll form radical opinions about how much it's gonna cost on just that.

I don't think I can spend any more than $30,000 everything included. If it can't come in around there (not a big worry of mine) - I won't be able to purcahse one, and maybe I'll have to give up on a Camaro for a little while.

But since it's not a big worry...I'm getting one! I haven't even looked at anything else out there.

I don't know about "cosmic certitude," but I'm still interested in buying the car. I can't say I was disappointed at all by the spy pics. It wasn't a sure thing before, but the spy pics did more good than harm for me.

With 4/5ths of the poll options having some negative connotation, I can see why these are deemed "unscientific" polls by some.

3/5ths...I guess we could consider buying used to be neutral...

The poll might as well started out saying, "Now that we've all seen how horrendous the Camaro mule looks..."

I'm not a criminal justice expert, but that sounds a lot like leading the witness.

Given these options:

5- Completely Satisfied
4- Somewhat Satisfied
3- Neutral
2- Somewhat Dissatisfied
1- Extremely Dissatisfied

I'm between a 4 and 5. There are a few nitpicky things I'd like to be different but none of them or all of them as a whole would detract me from selling my soul to Satan himself to buy one.

Defintely a skewed poll here. Most choices assume a level of dissatisfaction with the car going into the transaction, and then asks how much dissatisfaction would be tolerable.

None of those options apply to me.

I'm not disappointed in the least, but "cosmic certaintude" is going a long way overboard.

My purchase-o-meter is hovering at "I'd like one if I can afford it when the time comes. Otherwise, maybe I'll wait until I can afford new, or maybe I'll buy a used one a couple years later."

*If* the V-8 is priced 28-30K (doesn't have to be loaded) I'll buy. I'm between the top two choices, but much more satisfied than disappointed. I loved the concept interior and think the spy shots look very similar to it, therefore, I like it

I am definitely in. The recently posted high res shot of the official pic are just stunning to me. ALL the original body lines that I loved so much are there. I am hoping for an LS3 Z28 in LeMans Blue Metallic maybe. I am also hoping for HUD and a price somewhere around 30K when the dust settles from the initial buying frenzy that will no doubt take place. I think now that this car will in no way dissappoint.

I am without a doubt buying one, but I'm not paying over sticker price so it may be a while b/c these cars are going to FLY off the lots. I've got almost 10 grand saved up for the Camaro and I should be able to sell my truck for another 12 grand so that'll be a REALLY nice deposit on my 500+ hp Z28 (hopefully the same red as the 1:6th scale RC car) 6 speed Camaro

The more spy shots I see the more I don't like it. I really like the car from the windshield back. I really don't like the front fenders, grill, and the overall blunt look of the front. I was hoping for a wedge look like the 4th gen or a Vette. For the interior I was hoping for a center console that flowed up into the dash with a twist towards the driver for a cockpit feel like a vette. So, I am holding out to see the final product in person before I pass judgement, but I'm not optimistic that I will like it enough to buy it.

I'm on the wait and see train.

Didn't see that as a choice, so I didn't choose any of the choices.
