Where is your purchase-o-meter pegged?

I'm in wait and see mode. The interior spy shots just don't cut the mustard for me. It reminds me of something I'd see in a niche, boutique retro vehicle like the SSR -- not a volume sports coupe.
What really gets me is you've got a beautifully functional and modern interior in the C6 that you could base it off of. Can any of you seriously imagine Chevrolet trying to get the apparent 5th Gen interior past all the enthusiasts and into the C7 Corvette?

Well, that's the poll. The spy pics have created a certain amount of disappointment - that is undeniable.

As pessimistic as you are, I am equally optimistic. I like the direction GM is going and plan on buying a new Camaro... regardless.

Anyone who renders final judgement before they can even sit in a finalized production version would be foolish.
Speaking of the 35th SSs... anyone remember this spy pic?

Well it's YOUR poll and YOUR opinions. Let's get that straight. Undeniable - disapointment?? Actually I'd say quite the opposite. Last week there was certain criticism of the uncamo'd white Camaro in regards to the exterior and that has been just about quelled with some of the newer pics. Now we have the interior pics and while that has drawn some premature conclusions based on that. If anything the abundance of spy pics has renewed interest in the car and taught many of us not to rush to judgement just yet. Most rational people have joined the wait and see group if they were on the fence to begin with.

Charlie, you left out an option: I'm not at all disappointed -- so far, I think the design is making a good transition to production -- but I'm not yet sure I'll buy one, at least right away. Gotta learn more about specs and powertrain packages first.

I'd say most people on this board are sophisticated enough to not form a final judgement, simply based on photos of cobbled up prototypes. However, you can't help but form initial impressions, impressions on general themes, forms, shapes and proportions.

What I see in the pictures is not disappointing, it's unfinished.
Now, if the production car came out and looked identical to the pictures that have come out recently (interior included), then I'd be disappointed.
Everything I can see from the exterior pic that GM released looks good, and that has me pretty optimistic. The interior looks like poo, but is obviously unfinished, so I see no reason to be concerned (let alone disappointed!).
