Who did the Camaro Concept design

Re: Who did the Camaro Concept design
Its a little early for details like that to be out, don't ya think?
I think its safe to say no one person in GM design did the car, as it was probably a "team" project.

1) Nesbitt did the PT Cruiser, and I believe the HHR, which are retro flavored (obviously)...
2) If I remember right, when Nesbitt came to GM, he mentioned Camaro by name a few times... probably before the "gag order" on the word was reinforced to him by someone in a dark suit and black glasses.
3) If I remember right again, he went to several Camaro car shows after coming to GM.
4) If I remember right a third time, he owns a 1st gen Camaro??? I know the previously mentioned Mr. Welburn has one for sure... that could be what I am thinking of too..... I also agree that Mr. Welburn should logically have a hand in the design, especially being head of design.....
I would imagine anything and everything goes through him, though he may not be the "lead designer"...
All the above is just personal speculation.......

He did tell me once though, that the '67/'68 Camaro was his favorite.

i think Welburn had alot of influence on the design. Scott has made it a point to mention Welburn's personal 69 Camaro on more than a few occasions.

For those of you who have gone to the Camaro/Firebird Reunion in Bowling Green, KY in September, you may remember there was at least one seminar featuring someone who was on the design team.

Nope, he's not a GM design guy. But he did overlook a camaro based concept that is out now.
