Probably not, only because from all information I currently have, the top-o-the-line performance version will not be available at initial launch. Personally, this could not work out better, because I fully intend to buy BOTH a Challenger and a Camaro.

I will buy the first year IF there is a Z28 offered. Like someone else said, if there are rumors of the Z28 getting a bump in hp the following year, I'd gladly wait for that. But only ONE additional year.

I too will be going to a Chevrolet dealer that my family and I have dealt with for 10+ years and ordering mine. It also helps to have a friend who's the Fleet Manager and his son who's the Assistant Fleet Manager. I shouldn't worry about any markups.

Hate to be a wet blanket but remember Zeta? I'll worry about what to buy when dealers have em to sell.

 

If the top dog in performance is available the first year I'll buy mine then , if it's the year after and I have to wait I will, even though it will be hard to wait!!!
