Wouldn't it be crazy if internal documents surfaced that showed GM took the slash out of Z/28 to save 1.1¢ per car?

I had 4 replaced in my '02 (both driver and passenger the first summer I had it, then 1 each summer for the next 2 summers.) But it was under warranty, so they made nothing off me. lol

Re: Z/28 badge?

I say either with a slash, or replace the "06" with "28" on the Z06 badge:

I did a Z28 emblem based on that a while ago:

I don't know why, but I kinda don't like it.

Yeah, that's nice. Anything without any divider between the Z and 28 is nice looking.

When I see 'Z/28' it makes me thing 'zee slash twenty eight'. Keep it clean, no slash.

Re: Z/28 badge?

I'm not! The slash died after 1969. The early 2nd gens had a dash and by the end of the second gen run, it was gone as well.

Z28 is so much cleaner and modern looking. Besides, the name comes from the original option code... RPO-Z28. Neither slash, nor dash should even exist.

Re: Z/28 badge?

I disagree about copying the 1969 emblem.

But I do think a slash should be there.
