Until GM confirms a Z-28 themselves, it's not a go.
Besides, the LS3 is so modable that you can easily add bolt-ons that won't cost more than 3500$ to get ~525hp and ~525 lb.ft. of torque.
That being said, the only thing you could ask for from a Z-28 is reduced weight. But then we all know that people would just keep on complaining because the price tag increased...
