No, it doesn't liquefy the jewels. It holds the lap belt down so you don't go under it in a high-g impact.

Hey that z28 looks ALOT like the GONGOS clinic car. I wonder if pics of the rear exist of that concept. The GONGOS car was 1/2 1st 1/2 2nd gen inspired to me.

What's interesting about that picture is you can see the presentation material that asks "What are the most memorable Camaro cues?"
1st gen grille and tail lamps are listed.

 

Theyre required for any 1/4 mile car faster than a certain speed IHRA. Its been so long I forgot. I know its 13 sec of helmets, you need a license for 9 sec. I perfer the concepts look to that orange. I hope Z28 doesnt equal RS hidden headlights now.

 

The dash looks much better here now that the gauges dont over extend the dash pad. It looks like it is pulled back a bit, Though I did perfer the door lines of the concept just not the orange. I dont get this center console. Adding the 3 Series to your list of Camaro competitors is RIGHT on target GM!

 

Excellent find! It looks like the designers involved are just as torn between the SS and Z/28 as the folks on this board are. I caught the SS on the steering wheel but totally missed the 427 on the door.

 

Especially that "SS - 427" one, eh?

If the G35 and 3 series are competitors, you can bet a pricey camaro will be in the
lineup. Pricey with an LS7 hopefully!

 

I'd guess that all monikers drawn in these sketches were simply the artist's ideas...not actually anything more than just playing around.
