I own a Z28, and I'm fine with it, but Z/28 is my favorite. Don't really like Z-28 at all, but that wouldn't stop me from buying one if I liked the car.

Z28. Z/28 is just some badge designers way to make it look hip. I don't remember seeing a backslash in the RPO code... *whistles*

I prefer Z/28 as that is how the emblems were done originally. As far as RPO code, I'm not sure I understand your point, Chevy certainly used Z/28 as emblems, in print ads and brochures, usually RPO codes have nothing to do with what a model is called, for instance what does RPO Z27 have to do with the SS model other than that's the code used. Using your logic the SS should never have been called that, it should have been a Z27.

+1 for a nice updated Z/28. The car has obvious retro design influence, so why not bring back the slash?

That being said, I doubt I'll really care either way if it's any of the three. I've never seen a stock Z*28 badge and thought it looked bad/out of place on the respective car.

I picked the slash b/c they've even used them as of late on pick-ups like "Z/71" etc...and b/c it goes back to the 69 for which the 5th gen was obviously designed.

I like Z/28 the best.
I bet it will wear a badge similar to Corvette's Z06, however.

On another note, will there be any engine call-outs on the car?
And if so, is there any hope that it will be in cubic inches rather than liters? I'm sick & tired of liters. The new Camaro is clearly an American car (at least design wise) and therefore should wear an American engine call out badge. There's no reason to to try euro-ize it.
Like the crossed flags with the CID in the middle, or the CID in chrome & red lettering leaning forward attached to the rocker panel trim, or listed under the SS badge. Now that would be cool.
