Doh, I had to leave work without double checking what I wrote.

What I meant to write was there is no way I would choose a GTO or Mustang over a Camaro.

Gottcha. Thought you were saying you perfered the GTO over Camaro. GTO was 5k more though (at least on paper) Its funny the Camaro has the same peddle complaints mentioned in that Comparison you posted. I think Scott hinted the set up was to prevent lawsuits? Now I dont understand why other car companies can have better set ups but fix the Pedders guys are using looks pretty cool. I dont get why the tall bling truck tires as opposed to a wide set like the Donehue, or Musser cars needed to get.

Actually they document alot of problems and fixes like understeer and other improvments. Their build is a REALLY cool thread incase anyone hasn't checked it out yet..

I don't buy the 'lawsuits' argument IF the Mustang can get by OK for heel 'n' toers... That said, I can appreciate the reason why GM did it... but I just don't agree with it. Most performance V8s tied to a manual V8 are for performance enthusiasts so it's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe GM could write a disclaimer in the contract when the buyer first signs on the dotted line...

Btw, 5thgen69camaro, that is one great link...

To be fair I may have misquoted him but thats the way I remember it. Im pretty sure it was mentioned before production and it was a post on this site but Im too tired to dig it up.

Oh and I agree! I think this is front page material. Its the Pedders sponsors who get the credit for the material though. This is the thread where they break down their build and analogy of the car. I usually dont check out the suspension threads or even leave the pictures thread(not enough time) but lately theyve been leaving some cool stuff over there.
