Question Advice please

I am not sure if this is the correct location for this, so I apologize if I mispost. This is my first post here.

I currently own a 1991 RS with a 5.7L and a 1998 Z28. I am now looking to buy a 5th gen. I had one picked out, and the dealer was going to transfer it in, but now they want me to think about one that was traded in last night.

1 - 2011 red convertible 2SS with RS package. 21k miles. All stock. (This was my original choice)

2 - 2012 burgamdy hardtop 2SS with RS package. 17k miles. Alpine INE-Z928HD 8" nav deck with Scosche kit. 24" rims.

Just looking for opinions. I know about the mechanical and interior differences in the two. Thanks for reading and replying if you feel the need.

I don't care for convertibles, and I don't like the 24's on the second car so I'd keep looking. That's me though. Without prices and whatnot I can't give any advice.

You said option 1 was your original choice, so what made you lead to option #2? Sounds like you want the convertible. If so, go for it! My opinion doesn't matter, I won't be driving it.

Re: Advice please

The price is the same for both cars. As for additional mods, I don't think there are any. The gap between the tire and fender is minimal. Where with the stock 20's there is about 2" between them.

Nothing led me to the other car. The dealer is hoping I will take what is in their lot and they won't have to bring the convertible in.

Also, I am fully aware that the final choice is mine. I am just looking for some more info on the two cars.
