my friend drives a 93 300zx non turbo that has header back exhaust, intake, and ingnition amplifier
his car is 222hp stock and is estimated at about 260hp at the crank right now
he is estimating by other cars he has raced that he is doing about 14.9's

what do you think are the chances of me beating him in my 91 conv z28 lb9 5 speed....im stock except for flowmasters and i have a hurst short shifter installed...its been a long going battle who is gonna win but we havent raced yet
and we were thinking about throwing down 100 bucks on teh race...

 

a 1990 300zx n/a does 0-60 in 7.1 out of the box with a 15.5s 1/4
a 1990 z28 does 0-60 in 6.5 out of the box with a 15s 1/4

 

Just race and get it over with.

I would think that you would lose assuming you both have the same driving ability. I know a kid who has one and it ran a 15.4. If you get a 3.73 gear in your car it would be a good race. Good luck.

 

The non turbos are nothing special. It shouldn't be too hard for you
