well, that sounds like a exc. package.

but, that carb is way overkill. a good double pumper or a demon carb should do.

the headers are 1 5/8, not 1 1/2"s. but id consider the supercomps if your allowance permits. I believe it will make a diff. in that eng. your describing.

the 195 heads are too small for your needs(at least for optimam performance) IMO. Id go w/either 210 or 220 since this will be a stick car. that eng. should pull like a motha to about 7K or higher w/that manifold/heads/cam package.

should easy make over 450 HP Id think. Infact Id be totally shocked if it didnt make at least that much. that car w/about 3500rpm stall and 4:10s would KILL!

so what are you waiting for? build it already

I think if he does effectively work over the AFR190's he will be able to push 550+ HP with a fairly aggressive cam without much problem. With the 210's I'm willing to wager you could push 600+ if you really wanted to. Go with 1 3/4" headers.

1 1/2" is an awfully small header primary......on that kind of engine I'd run 1 3/4" longtubes into a 3" collector (Hooker Supercomps). I don't think you'll need the 210's either....just port the 190's a good bit and run 'em. 450hp easy enough.

Well thats what I want to hear so I should go with a smaller carb I thought the dominator would be good because it was a smaller Dominator 750cfm? I was also thinking a 750 double pumper too I`ll be useing solid lifters and cam

IrocSS85 I`m building the beast, the block is getting preped right now I`m hoping that it`s gonna be done by april but I think i`m looking at $10000 for this engine I only make 15000 a year so the summer of 2004 is probly when I will have it done

I`ll build a 4.11 or 4.56 12bolt with a T-56 tranny
Will a T-56 handle that kind of power or do I have to beef it up?

Well I keep you guys posted on my progress on the 388
Thanx for the info

the t-56 will take it. they have been known to last long times under even 10 sec. rides. my buddy has a 480rwhp LS1 (thats about 560 at the flywheel) and his 6 speed has no problems yet. you'll need a star spec. stage 3 clutch. but if you race it alot, may need to have the internals chryogenically treated (it increases the hardness on the rockwell scale) but I dont know how thats done or where. more than likely you wont need to.

that gear will be killer at the track, and w/the overdrive of the t56 would be ok on the freeway.

if you have 750 cfm, you'll be ok, but the dominator is more exp. then I think you need to spend. Id call a custom carb. place like the CARB SHOP to see what they recommend. but that can wait till the eng. is built to make sure it will match the combo.

good luck.
