you can either go with the 350 or 350 deluxe package. The reg 350 package comes with everything but intake system , water pump... and a few other things.. costs about $2200 (rough estimate off the top of my head). To the best of my knowledge the deluxe package is pretty much turnkey @ about $3300. It is also dyno'ed at 330 hp and i think about 350 ft lbs. If you go with the regular package though and dont mind a litle bit of work you can get a bit more power by using a EdelBrock RPM style intake manifold (not positive which one exactly.. ill get that info for you tomarrow), and other high end performance parts . The price of the Regular package + the aftermarket parts will equal just about the same as the turnkey package so its up to you. A bit more hp and trq + do it yourself work.. or a basically turnkey engine. ( 330 hp is nothing to frown on ). Go to www.GmPerfomanceParts.com and they have all the info you will need on the different packages.

Now to your question about the Tranny. From what ive heard on the board here... the t-5 tranny which is also in my 92 305 RS can not handle that kind of power.. GM didnt even put it in the camaros with the 350 engine from what i understand. I am looking into a T-56 transmition that i guess is supposed to be pretty darn good. If anyone knows the cost of one of these can i get an estimate??

Ya know.. im only 17 yrs old and before i got my camaro i knew practically nothing about cars. But the people on this message board have been the most helpful people ive ever had a chance of meeting in my life. Where else can u get all this info from experianced people short of going to the library ( and we all know books suck ) So i guess i just want to say thanks to all the helpfull people out there who take the time to respond to the young guns like myslef.
