3rd gen rear ???
I would like to know if any one could tell me if the rear end in a 3rd gen is shorter then the rear in a 4th gen.

Yes it is substantially shorter.....almost 4" flange-to-flange I believe. Everything else is the same.

you can put it in your car but you will have to use 4th gen wheels and on the front you will have to use adapters from
