4th gen brakes on a 3rd gen
Does anyone know if it is possible to adapt the 4th gen brakes to a 3rd gen camaro? I was looking through the summit mag. and noticed a 6 piston brake upgrade for the 4th gens. I would love to have this set up. Are there any fellow 3rd genners with a big brake up grade that can share what they are using?

It's possible....and it's been done. There are a few guys over on TGO who have gone to 98+ brakes and Eric (LT1powered85Z) here was the first I know of to make the swap. I have a deal pending on a full set of 98+ brakes to go on my RS as well.
You should visit the suspension board at thirdgen.org.....there are quite a few threads there about various brake upgrades, and one about those 6-piston calipers specifically.

If you have a crappy non-posi 2.73 drum rear like I did, you can get posi, 3.42's and LS1 rear discs by swaping in a rear out of a 98+ fbody. Now my rears are about the same size as the fronts, doh!

One of my friends just put the 98+ rear brakes on his 86 Z28 today.
It seemed like a pretty easy affair. e-brake cables need to be changed or adapted. I think he is going to try the 91-92 1LE cables and see if they work.
I did it the easy way, just put the entire rear end from a 99 SS onto my car.

I have C4's on my car, they fit my factory 15's
the LS1 brakes are basicly the exact same process as the C4's, the only diffrence is really the caliper, it is the same floating PBR design, but the reinforcement fins are larger, and will not clear without at least a 16" wheel (not sure if it will fit the thirdgen wheels or not). the basic process is this, you turn a set of factory rotors down on a lathe, so they can be used as hubs, you then modify your spindle to 1le specs. then you have to fab caliper mounting brackets.
pics of my setup can be seen here....

The stock cables for the non-pbr rear disc brakes won't work since those cables have the small log style ends and the 98+pbr uses the cable with a slotted end.
I don't have any pics of the cable ends on the computer.

I presently have C4s on my RS but will be installing the LS1s soon and see what they're like. Pics in the links:
