700r4 problems

my automatic tranny im my 88 camaro is leaking transmission fluid all over the place, is there any common problems related to this because i cannot find the leak and info would be helpfull

It could be the front pump seal, the trans pan gasket, the trans fluid fittings, the vent hose, the dipstick tube, the tailshaft housing gasket, the tailshaft seal, speedo cable area, tv cable area, etc etc. The only way to find out is to clean it all off and then run it. Check for the leak.

i started to notice a small leak comming from the pan... ended up being my gasket

A sudden, major leak will usually be the front pump or dipstick grommet, or possibly a broken cooler line. Pan gaskets/tailshafts/TV cables/speedo senders tend to start slow and get worse over time.

Jack the car up, clean it off and run it while you observe from below. If this doesn't work, get a blacklight and add dye to the tranny fluid.
