your probably right or not far off, thats why im going to have to get aftermarket siamesed runners, twin 58mm TB and port the runners/plenum/base to get airflow like it needs, but none the less i wanted to do it right when i rebuilt it....so it will have monster torque because of the high velocity design in the LTR setup, but will lack on HP just like the original setup until i make it appropriate to support the 383's needs.

Find someone who knows how to build it right and you will have no problems. Find a local/crappy shop who doesn't know how to mod the tranny correctly and you will suffer.
Mine is holding 600hp and 650 tq just fine(dyno'd 483/520 on juice). Get a pro-built or find someone who has customers that you can talk to who are putting down the power you plan to make. Don't trust someone's word that it can take 600hp.

Really shouldn't need a 58mm TB with a 383. The stock 48mm should be just fine.
At least it works on the Ram Jet 502.
