88 IROC 350 what cam?
I haven't been around TPI's for awhile now so I figured you could help me out. My buddy is looking for a decent cam that will give him some good gains. For right now he is only running SLP runners with a flowmaster catback.
I am pretty sure I will be helping him install some SLP headers this summer.

If he's using stock heads, then he's limited to cams with less than .460" lift. Try to pick one in the 208-212 intake duration range, and LSA of 112 or higher. Crane and Comp both make good roller cams that are computer friendly for TPI.
Also, plan on replacing the valve springs at the same time. The stock ones will be worn out, and putting in a cam with higher lift will make them work even harder.

His car was nice (only 45,000 miles) but he has beat it pretty hard. We found a piece of cam bearing in his oil pan last month. So we will be replacing the springs etc. when we take it apart anyway.
