i cannot find a picture of the distrubutor on a 91 rs. i need to know which way it faces and where should #1 line up???



oh yeah, it's a 305.

Im not quite sure I understand what your saying. Do you want to know where the number one plug wire goes on the distributor?

The electrical connectors poking out the side of the dist. should point roughly at the steering wheel. #1 plug wire should be front, slightly towards the driver's side on the cap.

All this assumes you ahve the distributor installed correctly- not off by a tooth or two or six.
