ALDL and TPS problem

Hey guys.....well just now I was outside attempting to adjust my idle via IAC and when I put the paperclip into the ALDL, I noticed my TPS was clicking super loud. I actually got outa the car and I could feel the vibration on the sensor along with the click. Is this normal? And if not, what does this mean? Thanks

Yeah I do. Although it has been overheating my car while in use lately.

i cant see the tps clicking.
but i would try disconnecting the a/c compressor.
there is a connector right by the pulley with two prongs unplug
it and try the paper clip thing again and see if it still makes that sound
