Another Disc to Drum Question

I picked up a 9 bolt disc brake rear for 60 bucks over the weekend. Im gonna put it in on thursday, but I had a question with the prop valve. The dealer wants 80 bucks for the valve and the speed shop has an adjustable aftermarket valve for 40. My question is that does the third gens use a combo valve that contains the metering valve also? Are the aftermarket ones a PITA to adjust? What do you guys think I should do?

The 3rd gen prop valve controls brake bias as well as isolating the front left/front right/rear brake "channels." I've seen people simply put a T in the front line and put the aftermarket valve in the rear line and get great results that way, but it's a little less safe since the front wheels aren't isolated from each other.

The aftermarket valves are usually more trouble to plumb than they are to adjust.
