Im assumming the following is in the prober order....
1.set timing...
,and its safe to say my timing could be anywhere between 6 degrees over to 10 degrees?depending on my mods and the like?
2.set base idle
3.set tps
4.obviously at any point do tune up...
just making sure..
thanks again?

So far so good. However, once you set the things, you don't have to reset it unless you are changing your timing or base idle speed. Timing is 6 deg. If you change it, it will affect timing at all points. Say if you wanted more timing down low, it will also affect timing up there where it may cause detonation. For instance, my heads wake up at around 3000 - 5000 pm. I would have the EPROM configured to have more timing down low than when it is in that range because it might ping. The EPROM was told to expect 6 degrees base timing and when it figures it has 36 deg total timing, it is advancing 30 and assuming you have 6 base. Set it to 10 base and it will still think you have 36 deg when you actually have 40.

Are you disconnecting the black and orange wire (if I rember right) on the passenger side firewall, before you set your timing?

Sounds like you got everything figured out pritty good. Just a little helpful hit, when you start the engine(if you havent already) make sure you have oil pressure. I was a dum**** and forgot to check that after i started the engine and fryed the rings, so i have to rebuild it again. I didnt prime the oil pump. Just trying to prevent someone from going through what i went through. Good luck
