borge warner 9 bolt
#3
I've got an 89 IROC with the 5 speed and I have a 3.45 gear in my 9 bolt. Is your car an auto or a 5 speed? If the rear end cover has never been off, there will be a tag attached to one of the bolts that will tell you the ratio in the rearend.

The post was for gear ratios (2:77 & 3:27) used with a 350 (Auto)
engine only and not for the B-W 3:45 which came ONLY with the 305(5-sp). And they all used disc brakes.
AGAIN I WILL SAY, THE ONLY FACTORY STOCK BW 9-BOLT AXLE RATIOS USED ONLY ON 350 TPI ENGINES WITH AUTOMATICS WERE 2:77 & 3:27 (which was a option)GEARS.
