Does anyone know about how long those usually last?

Use platinum Delcos, I have taken them out of 75,000 mile engines and they were still holding up good.

Then again I am a all GM guy!

heh, I've been running them for about a year now, not sure what the problems to be looking for.. Idle is kinda screwed right now, not sure what the problem is, plugs? smog pump? something in ignition? I've replaced a bunch of stuff trying to fix it but can't, replaced wires also (bosch wires), thinking about the plugs now.

Well so far I have had nothing but bad luck with them. The tend to foul easily and give you a real bad stumbly idle.

I've heard nothing but bad things about the +4s...I run Bosch's regular platinum plugs and they work very well for me but it seems that some people don't like them either.

I hear the splitfire plugs are worthles too.

I personaly dont know why any one would run multi pronged plugs in the first place. they are just a gimic. the spark can only travel down one prong at a time.

go with a good single prong plug like Accel or NGK's

They last for a long time in the box but are worthless for the money in the motor. I'd go NGKs.

Ok, I think I will. NGK has a multi-prong plug I was looking at, is that any good? Which one should I get for a '89 Camaro 350 TBI?

NGK's and AC Delco Rapid Fire have been good for me. I just wish the Rapid Fire's were platinum.
