Post Cam suggestions with SR

355, non-roller, SuperRam, World S/R Torquers, full hooker exhaust, 1.5 rockers, 700r4, 3.42 to 3.73's, 24 lbs injectors, 2,000 stall, and i think that's all there is. The car is apart right now and i'm trying to pick a cam, so far, i was thinking of one of the LPE cams the 214/224...i just don't like the lift that i'm gonna have with 1.5's...and i don't have the money right now for 1.6's.....Thanks for everything

LPE also has a few other cams but i would honestly pick something up from Comp Cams probably. I am doin a non-roller cam too and I did a comp cam Nitrous HP cam. 230/244 duration, .503 lift with 1.5 rockers but I am running 1.6 roller pieces for more lift. They offer smaller Nitrous cams also. There are 2 sizes smallr than what I have actually. Go to www.compcams.com and check it out. The nitrous and marine non roller cams are the ONLY streetable ones they make with GOOD lobe seprations. Most flat tappet cams ar ALL 110 lobe seperations but the Nitrous cams are 113 and the marine cams are 112 or 114 which I like better. If your hads are totally "out of the box", i would do somehting with a 220/230 spec, no more than .520 lift. with something like this you would want a higher stall also. something in the 2500-2800 RPM range.

Lift on a non roller cam is hard to get because of the lobe design. If I were to do a roller cam with the same duration that I have on my flat tappet, i could have a LOT more lift. Somewhere in the .560-.590 area easily. Goodluck!

With my 350 and SR intake I had the ACCEL 74219 camshaft and it was great. 219 Duration Intake/Exhaust, 0.525 Lift Intake/Exhaust, 112 deg Lobe Seperation.

You can put 1.6 on later. Doesn't have to be all done at once.
