Stall speed?
Gear ratio?
Street, race, or both?
Custom PROM, right?
The CC306 may be too much for a stock bottom end, it will probably make power past 6000rpm, which is a gamble with stock internals. Your cam choice depends heavily on preferences and how much of driveablility/mileage/low end loss youre willing to sacrifice for that extra bit of power. Try a search also, the CC306 is a pretty common cam.

Just because a cam is popular doesnt mean it works well in every application. The ZZ4 is a very small cam, its not much more aggressive than stock. With that cam you would definitely be leaving some power on the table.
ZZ4 - 208/221 .474/.510 112LCA
L98 - 202/206 .403/.415 114LCA

Your best bet is to phone Comp or Crane or whoever on their 1-800 number and ask for their advice. They do know their business.

zz4 cam will put you in the solidly into the 12's with traction decent idle nice lope, awesome torque and horsepower throughout your rpm range. Thats why it's popular,
also the tpis ZZ-9 is a great choice and will make a few more ponies over the zz4
Big cams make big power if your prepared to twist the crap out of it!!
Sent you a PM

Not with a TPI engine like the L98 is. The ZZ4 is meant for a carb, however.
