what are you guys using for 10.4:1 compression 383 with afr 190's hooker long tubes mufflex 4" automatic trans. I have the zz9x that tpis said would be awesome the only awesome thing about it was the price.
I heard talk about the hot cam and the 309.

Any thoughts??

What are the cam specs? Mine are in the sig and its just a 355 that runs mid 13's on "factory" programming.

what rear gear and conv. you running? you should have around3:42-3:73 w/tpi's and you need prolly about 3K stall conv. and you should be able to use 248 or 25x deg. duration @.050 and prolly .600 lift or so should be in the ball park. my eng. hasabout 10:1 and runs great w/242 @ .050 cam (solid)but I have 3:73s and 2500ish stall conv.) I still get 11 mpg. too believe it or not w/a carb.
but Id call comp. cams help line.
