can i use LT1 rods?

going to be building a short rod 383 (1987 roller block,formerly TBI) and i just want a mild build-up for it. can i use LT1 rods in it? thanks

Yep. You should maybe invest in the LT4 rods. They're pretty cheap.

Also, I believe you have to use LT1/LT4 rod bolts/studs.

Oh nothing at all, I just meant that style. I think the LT1/LT4 rods have a different head style than the old style rod rod.
