changing tranny mount

changing tranny mount

is it correct to jack up the tranny from the pan with a block of wood, i also need a tranny mount the dosent need the cross member to be shimmed and it has to be polyuerathane,, any help appreciated

You can carefully jack it up by the pas so long as it completely spans the pan, though it is not recomended. You can also jack it up by the tailshaft after the mount. Sorry cant help you with the mount though, I only have a stock rubber one.

ive heard the tailshaft one,, no wood under that tail shaft just straight jack to tailshaft?
