There's a company, Covan's Classic, they advertise in Super Chevy and CHP. They make a cluster and include the gauges. They run up around 600 if I remember correctly. www.covansclassic.com

would it be cheaper to buy the guages seperate and just pop em in the stock panel? if i did that would i need to modify the pannel?

wont fit in the stock panel. Their panel will plug right into your stock assembly.

And if you add up all the $ you would spend on the gauges themselves, it's not much cheaper. You can buy the panel itself (no gauges) for I think $89. That's $500 in gauges. The panel might be expensive but there's not a cheap way to do it.

There really isn't a cheap way to do it. Aftermarket gauges are EXPENSIVE. An Autometer tach alone runs $100-300 depending on what you get.

Actually cheap or not I think Covans Classic would be your best bet just take a look at their product. IMO it's alot better than stock.
